June 3, 2017 Kid's Free Fishing Derby

Youngsters ages 2 thru 13 are invited to join the Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce for its annual Kid's Free Fish Derby to be held on Saturday, June 3 from 8:30a.m. to 12 noon at the Chamber's Welcome Center, 7925 Lake Shore Drive. The first 100 youngsters will receive a free cane fishing pole. Free bait will be provided and prizes will be given for the longest fish. Youngsters must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone will receive a free hot dog and beverage. No reservations are necessary.
June 10, 2017 Dinner Dance Fund Raiser for the Project Love Food Pantry

Join the Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce for a fund raiser Dinner-Dance to support the building campaign for Project Love Food Pantry. We will also be saluting the history of Midway Ballroom with pictures from its Big Band era, its Rock and Roll era and the County Music salute. Tickets are $45.00 per person and will include a dinner and live music. Tickets are available by calling the Chamber office at 219 374-6157 or 219 613-8970.

Chamber members are encouraged to attend the "Business After Hours" hosted by the
Cedar Lake Historical Association on Tuesday, June 13 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. in the museum. Network with Chamber members and enjoy refreshments and take a tour of the museum.
July 22, 2017 Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra

The beautiful music of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra will fill the Cedar Lake Town Complex Grounds on July 22 as the Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Cedar Lake present the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra in what has become an annual summer appearance. The performance starts at 7:30p.m. and the concert is free to the public.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, maybe a snack or two and your favorite beverage and enjoy an evening under the stars. The charismatic conductor, Maestro Kirk Muspratt, will present a concert you will never forget. Plenty of parking is available.
